Norwegian Salmon Burger

A healthy dish perfect for all the family. Quick and easy to make this is ideal for a delicious and nutritious lunchtime snack or New Year party.

  • Rinse the Norwegian salmon fillet in cold water, pat dry and chop finely.
  • Add the chives and season with salt and pepper.
  • Shape the chopped salmon mixture into four flat patties.
  • Melt the butter in a frying pan and heat the patties in the pan for 2-3 minutes on each side.
  • Wash the tomato and cucumber and cut into slices.
  • Cut the slices of bread in two, to create two thin slices and toast.
  • Lay out one of the halves of bread on the plate and layer with one lettuce leaf, a salmon patty and add the cucumber slices and tomato to garnish.
  • Spread cream cheese on the remaining bread halves and add to top the burger.
  • Serve with cherry tomato and cucumber salad.
